It's got nothing to do with anyghing, BUT their crappy content, antique movies and series and repeating every thing 50 time, some times spread over different channels, thinking their subscribers are idiots. Shutdown SuperSport channels and the whole DSTV/Multichoice wil go down in a month..

Well they want to punish solar users with a solar levy which is theft, and raise the cost of having a backup connection by raising the fixed fee rate. So they're disincentivising solar investors. Normal behavior for a government that hates its own citizens.

They don't know that they don't know! Parts of the legal system we are in can't operate without full links to the international postal union. And some legal docs cant operate with 'monetary value' stamps and a fast and 'effective' Registered Mail system! One month to receive a notification slip of a Registered Mail item and when you go immediately to the PO with it, you find they've returned it to Durban ! Worse is,they don't know who to 'contact' there, to get it resent! Result another 3 + week delay!

Product availability is completely different.

In the US and UK, you can easily import goods from Japanese storefronts at no extra cost and visa versa.
South African Amazon doesn't have a scratch of what's available on the global market which renders it quite useless.
I will keep using Amazon US.
5 day shipping from Japanese amazon to New York City is fantastic.
Was hoping to experience this in Cape Town on my vacations.
Thanks for trying though.

If you live in South Africa you can definitely keep using Takealot. Prices and product availability are much better at the moment. We can talk about Amazon after 2 years.
Very disappointed in the South African launch.
