The advantages (environmental and economic) of solar and wind power generation coupled with storage have been manifest for a while.
The SA auto manufacturers have been bugging the gavernment for a while about dangers to their export business as the world turns to EVs.
Ignore, dismiss, procrastinate and watch the chickens come home to roost.
But it is always somebody else’s fault…
