Along with the evolution in connectivity, 4G and 5G POS terminals have incorporated advancements in touchscreen technology to make them easier to use.

Umm. No. As a customer, touch screen card machines are NOT easier to use. Exactly the contrary, as a visually impaired user, I find the lack of tactile feedback really annoying: did I push that key now or not? What's worse, some models even randomise the numbers. Like, really? At least I'm not completely blind; I can only imagine the frustration of those who are.

Not to mention the fact that, even among normal sighted people, it's not uncommon to not be able to remember your PIN, but to be able to enter it on a standard keypad with your eyes closed. Those people complain bitterly.

Nope. Nope nope nope. Stop fooling yourselves. Touch screen POS systems are a huge step backwards in terms of ease of use and accessibility. They're an absolute pain, and I hate using them.
